Questa scena tratta dal film "Taxi Driver" è una delle più famosa scene della cinematografia. E' la scena in cui Travis, il protagonista, fa pratica con la pistola davanti allo specchio ed inizia un monologo in cui si rivolge alla sua immagine riflessa: "Ma dici a me? Ma dici a me? ... Ma dici a me? Ehi con chi stai parlando? Dici a me? Non ci sono che io qui". Questa scena non era prevista nel copione, che indicava solo "Travis guarda in uno specchio", ma De Niro decise di aggiungere delle battute per calarsi nella personalità di Travis. A Scorsese piacque così tanto che decise di tenerla nel montaggio finale.
