People are queueing to buy doughnuts just out of the first store of Krispy Kreme in Japan.

Promotional trailer for the 2008 Krispy Kreme Challenge in Raleigh, North Carolina. Competitors attempt to run two miles from the historic Belltower at North Carolina State University to the Krispy Kreme store in downtown Raleigh. Once there, they must consume a dozen original glazed doughnuts, and then run the two (primarily uphill) miles back to campus, all in under an hour. The challenge was first proposed by former NCSU basketball player Chris McCoy, and has been profiled by Sports Illustrated: On Campus. All profits from the event are donated to the North Carolina Children's Hospital. Successful completion requires at least modest physical fitness, and a cast iron stomach.
