While it's not a performance road test (like my other videos), I just had to add this review of a bizzare Volkswagen Beetle/Camper combo.

This was recorded on Halloween of 2004 in Cleveland with the reformed Camper Van Beethoven including Jonathan Segal! The drummer is from Cracker since Crispy Derson lives in Australia, I hear. This is a Black Flag cover from their first album.

This Camper Van Beethoven's song got stuck in my head so I had to put together a video for it. The Camper vid is actually Eyes of Fatima pt. 1 and the Angels vid is for My Boyfriend's Back. This is just for fun, please enjoy...

Motorcycle camping was never easier! The Mini Mate is a lightweight pop-up camper that can be easily towed by any motorcycle over 1,000 cc as well as cars and trucks. This video demonstrates the set up and take down of the Mini Mate (as well as little extra I had to edit out). As you'll see, it takes just two minutes to set up camp. While your friends are still unpacking their ground tents, you'll be set up and enjoying a cold one!

For those who cannot see the obvious, this is a cover version of the 1967-era psychedelic classic by Status Quo, who continued on past the (1960s) psychedelic era and evolved into a popular arena-rock band. Camper Van Beethoven were a popular alt-rock band during the 1980s through early 1990s, and reformed (after a brief hiatus during which time singer Dave Lowry formed Cracker) and toured during the mid-2000s, and may even still be touring when they want to.
