(Spanish "Reales Alcázares de Sevilla" or "Royal Alcazars of Seville) is a royal palace in Seville, Spain. Originally a Moorish fort, the Alcázar has been expanded several times. The Almohades were the first to build a palace, called Al-Muwarak, on the site. Most of the modern Alcázar was built over Moorish ruins for King Peter I of Castile (also known as Pedro the Cruel) with construction beginning in 1364. Pedro used Moorish workers to build his palace giving it a distinctly Islamic design. The palace is one of the best remaining examples of mudéjar architecture, a style under Christian rule in Spain but using Islamic architectural influence. Subsequent monarchs have added their own additions to the Alcázar. Charles V's addition of gothic elements contrast with the dominant Islamic style.

This is the rare Alcazar track Glamourama. This song was unreleased until Alcazar decided to treat their fans with something special. They released this track as a b-side on their maxisingle version of Start The Fire (released in Sweden in May 2005). Taken from Alcazarworld.com about the track: "Glamourama" is a song written by Gurra & Pedda from former Swedish success Just D and the pop project AutoLove. A guitardriven hysteric poptune with a name that only Alcazar can make justice to! This is actually the third version of the track. The first one is based on a sample of a tack-we-don't-know-the-title-of and was recorded by Alcazar at an early stage of the "Alcazarized" sessions. The track wasn't picked for the final track listing of the album, and was not recorded by all four of the members, as Magnus hadn't joined the group at that stage. The second version was a somehow pop-ier one, with a more modern beat and the old sample lifted off. This "remix" was done in 2004 for listening to the song with "new ears" after laying in the vaults for almost two years. When Alcazar wanted to give their fans some unreleased material "...", they immediately thought of this track as one of the strongest demos never released on a record. The composer team was very happy about it, and suddently made a whole new backing track to the old vocals. When Magnus heard an early rough mix of this one, he shouted "Stop!!" and ran down to the recording studio to complete the quartet sound with new vocals on the 2nd verse, and some ad libs. "..." It is a trashier sound than we´re used to coming from Alcazar". Alcazar actually performed a rockier version of Glamourama in their summer tour in Sweden in the summer of 2005.

Here's one of my favorite groups, Alcazar, performing the unreleased ABBA song, "Funky Feet". It was unreleased because Benny and Bjorn feared that it was too similar to "Dancing Queen" in sound, and as we all know, there can only be ONE "Dancing Queen"!
