It's a kind of robot-car done with LEGO mindstorms NXT elements that can automatically park itself if it detects enough space between 2 objects. It has got an ultrasonic sensor that detects the length of free spaces. Then, when it detects enough space, it makes the necessary movments to park. And when you say "GO!" it returns to the road.

This is my build of the Super Nintendo "music box." I found this project on the internet. Knowing that I had some time on my hands during Christmas break, I decided to do this project. This plays .spc files(snes audio dumps)from your computer and plays it using the original hardware. I got my case from RadioShack a long time ago. It has a 9 volt battery compartment allowing portability. I also have a power input if you don't want to drain batteries. Also, if your into this type of music style, you can get it to play .mod .s3m and .xm files using a converter program. It can convert various mod files to spc files. The S-DSP part is a full hardware Avalon component. The S-SMP part (SPC700) is SNES9X ported to Nios II. SPC files are stored in a Flash ROM. An evolution of first SPC with the following improvements: - The ultrasonic sensor is mounted on a motor, so it can turn around 360º. Thanks to this, it can park both sides, left or right, and it uses the ultrasonic sensor to avoid hitting cars when it parks. With two ultrasonic sensors the parking system would be easier and the car design would be nicer. - It steers with trapezoid steering instead of parallel steering (used in first SPC).

I've added voice recognition to my C# application using the Speech Recognition within Vista in the .NET 3.0 framework. I have the computer speak back the command for now, but I will take that out since it slows down the robot actions
